Wix is being promoted to be a website builder for pure beginners and easily accessible. While this could be true at some levels, it can become challenging to build something which really looks professional while being optimised in terms of marketing, specially if  you: don’t center your content on the page, don’t insert your content into strips or don’t harmonise the style of your headings, subheading and text.

With Om Flowing, we worked on several aspects together.

Design – While I usually prefer to work with a professional designer for all my website projects, I can sometimes make exceptions with projects on small budget. In this case, I look after the whole process myself: Choose of a theme, style, imagery etc. I believe that we should all have access to some Marketing help and I use my experience in building/managing website in order to guide me in terms of design.

SEO – Because SEO is less “visible”, it is often overlooked by entrepreneurs with a can-do attitude who want to do it all themselves. For Om Flowing, we re-organised all the headings and subheadings together with their tags (h1, h2, h3 etc.), we build their internal linking strategy and we defined meta titles and meta descriptions of all pages.

Email Automation – Finally, Marie & Sabrina wanted to give their website visitors several options to connect with them: a generic contact form to send a message, a subscription to the newsletter as well as an option to receive a free gift. For each of these options, we have connected the forms to their email marketing provider and created three campaign automations based on the type of contact.

And as a bonus, I guided them into the creation of the Google My Business Page so they can even appear on Google Maps.
