Increasing brand awareness and attracting clients with a new website and an improved messaging

When I had my first meeting with ORT House, we thought that the main objective of my work would be to drive traffic to their website.

However, after conducting an audit of their online presence, we realised that the first step of the strategy should actually by redesigning the website and improving the brand’s message.

ORT House Conference Centre is a well-established event and meeting space located in Camden Town. After many years of operations and some very loyal clients, ORT House has now the ambition to expand its portfolio of clients in order to fully optimise its space and make sure rooms are hired as much as they can be.

Introduction – I first thought that my work will mainly consist of helping the conference centre to drive traffic to their website. But once I completed the online audit where I observed the positioning of the conference centre and compared it to their main competitors, I realised that we had other digital marketing priorities. 

Strategy – The audit revealed a very competitive industry with lots of large & modern venues competing with ORT House. ORT House has the advantage to be in a historical and charming building, extremely well located and quite price competitive. However, we realised that the website and the online messaging was not reflecting this reality and was not doing justice to the venue. First step of the strategy was then to redesign the website (to be launched end of January 2020) and to work on the content (images and text) from a message point of view.

Implementation – The website project started and is still in progress. It is due to be launched end of January 2020. In parallel to redesigning the website, I conducted a branding workshop with ORT House so they can learn and embrace the new way to describe themselves. We also organised a photo shooting with a professional photographer to update their images library.

We asked Cecile to help us with overhauling our marketing and a new website. Cecile’s understanding of digital marketing and online presence is hugely impressive. She is creative and thoughtful in all aspects of the work that she undertakes and is consistently supportive and encouraging throughout each step. Working with her is an enlightening process and we don’t feel anyone could have done a better job for us. Her work ethic and her ability to see the bigger picture as well as all the small details have been so appreciated by us and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.
